As a crucial role in the recruitment process, I was able to reinvent the way we market and manage the recruitment process through digital marketing. Because this was the first rush process we held during the pandemic, we needed to rely on digital marketing to gain members and hold events. My strategies resulted in one of the largest pledge classes we had in over two years.​

Lubbock YWCA / Marketing Student

For my Digital Marketing and Integrated Marketing Communications courses at Texas Tech, Lubbock YWCA served as our community partner. As a class, we built full digital marketing and marketing communications strategies for the YWCA. My assignment included email marketing and Instagram strategy focused on the YWCA fitness program. I built full marketing strategies including target markets. segmentation, buyer personas, buyers journeys, and other marketing concepts. I designed graphics and example email newsletters for the YWCA team.

Drink Machine Works & Learning New Skills

Since graduating in May, I have been creating a marketing plan from scratch for my family's frozen drink machine business. This strategy has ranged from writing vision statements and defining brand colors to creating specific short-form video strategies. Over the past few months, I have been able to showcase what I have learned from my education and former internship experience through this project. We will be having a digital marketing launch including a blog and posts on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. Stay tuned!
